* Until 315 PM CDT.

* At 238 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 5 miles west of Newkirk, moving east at 50 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and half dollar size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Newkirk, Hardy, northern Kaw Lake, and Peckham.

northeast at 45 mph.

located 4 miles southeast of Chilocco, moving east at 45 mph.
