downstream along the Rio Hondo. Impacts will include but are not
limited to all nearby reservoirs, bridges, culverts and roadways
associated with these drainages, especially at those points where

especially at risk. Impacts could extend at least to Picacho, New
Mexico. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and
other loose materials.

the South Fork and Blue 2 burn scars.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This is a life threatening situation. Heavy rainfall will cause
extensive and severe flash flooding of creeks, streams and ditches
in the Blue 2, South Fork and McBride Burn Scar. Severe debris flows
can also be anticipated across roads. Roads and driveways may be
washed away in places. If you encounter flood waters, climb to
safety.

Runoff from rainfall will cause elevated water levels within
vulnerable drainages in and downstream of the South Fork, Blue 2 and
McBride burn area.

Do not camp along streams and rivers. Remain alert when hiking in
steep, narrow canyons. Know where you are relative to low spots and
drainages.
