13 Nov 2024 Update: The tool was updated to use non-hash link style URLs. A shim is in place to translate the old URLs to the new ones, so nothing should be broken (famous last words). This was done to allow the HTML5 History API to provide a better user experience.

The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for...
South Central Escambia County in northwestern Florida...
* Until 715 AM CDT Friday.
* At 113 AM CDT, Life threatening flooding has spread across
Pensacola and the adjacent barrier islands. Emergency management
reports significant flooding across the area with roads inundated.
Public reports of 3 to 4 feet of water along highway 98 around
Gulf Breeze and the Pensacola ASOS station has recorded over 9
inches the past 6 hours and 3 inches the past hour. Between 8 and
13 inches of rain have fallen across the entire warned area.
Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are possible in the
warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.
This is a FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for Pensacola Metro and Gulf
Breeze . This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER
GROUND NOW!
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK

Bellview, Ramsey Beach and Millview.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Move to higher ground now! This is an extremely dangerous and
life-threatening situation. Do not attempt to travel unless you are
fleeing an area subject to flooding or under an evacuation order.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
