AFTERNOON FOR NORTHWESTERN HITCHCOCK COUNTY...
At 1033 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms
producing heavy rain in Water rescues are occurring in the town of
Stratton. Vehicles are being swept away around Stratton. Between 5
and 10 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1
to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is
already occurring.
This is a FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for Northwest Hitchcock County,
including the town of Stratton including the Republican River. This
is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW!
