  St. Charles Parish in southeastern Louisiana...
  St. John The Baptist Parish in southeastern Louisiana...

* Until 1230 AM CDT.

* At 835 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 6 and 10 inches of rain 
  have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 4 to 6 inches are 
  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected 
  to begin shortly.

  This is a FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for Laplace. This is a 
  PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW!

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1230 AM CDT MONDAY 
FOR ST. CHARLES AND ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST PARISHES...

At 945 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated Ida's eyewall producing very 
heavy rain in LaPlace. Reports coming in of people trapped in homes 
in LaPlace. Water completely surrounding a hotel. Numerous people 
requesting to be rescued. Between 6 and 12 inches of rain have 
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 4 to 6 inches are possible in 
the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin 
shortly.

This is a FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for Laplace. This is a PARTICULARLY 
DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW!
