  Southwestern Orangeburg County in central South Carolina...

* Until 615 AM EDT.
    
* At 542 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Barnwell, moving northeast at 55 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Blackville and Barnwell State Park around 555 AM EDT.
  Denmark around 600 AM EDT.
  Bamberg around 610 AM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Cope,
Govan, Olar, Bamberg County Airport, Kline, Barnwell County Airport,
Hilda and Snelling.

located near Bamberg, moving northeast at 60 mph.

This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. TAKE COVER NOW!

HAZARD...Damaging tornado.

SOURCE...Radar confirmed tornado.

IMPACT...You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris may 
         be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes 
         will be destroyed. Considerable damage to homes, 
         businesses, and vehicles is likely and complete destruction 
         is possible.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southeastern Barnwell, northern Bamberg and southwestern Orangeburg
Counties, including the following locations... Cope, Olar, Bamberg
County Airport and Govan.
