13 Nov 2024 Update: The tool was updated to use non-hash link style URLs. A shim is in place to translate the old URLs to the new ones, so nothing should be broken (famous last words). This was done to allow the HTML5 History API to provide a better user experience.

* Until 430 AM CST.
* At 233 AM CST, emergency management reported flash flooding across
the warned area with reports of homes taking on water and water
rescues in the warned area. Rainfall amounts of seven to ten
inches of rain have fallen.
This is a FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for West Hattiesburg, Hattiesburg,
and Petal. This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER
GROUND NOW!
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Hattiesburg, Petal, West Hattiesburg, Rawls Springs, Sunrise,
Macedonia, Eastabuchie, Moselle and Ovett.
Additional rainfall amounts of one to two inches are possible in the
warned area.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Move to higher ground now. This is an extremely dangerous and
life-threatening situation. Do not attempt to travel unless you are
fleeing an area subject to flooding or under an evacuation order.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
