* Until 715 PM CDT
* At 413 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is expected to
begin shortly. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW! This rainfall is expected
to raise the water level on the Tyler Forks River near Mellen,
which could overflow onto Highway 169. This will also affect the
headwater areas of the Bad River. People in these areas should be
extra vigilant in staying on high ground and away from rivers.
This is a particularly dangerous situation.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Ashland, Hurley, Mercer, Sanborn, Mellen, Marengo, Saxon, Gurney,
Upson, Gile, Odanah, Montreal, Kimball, Morse, Pence, Bad River
Reservation, Gile Flowage, Cedar, High Bridge, and Iron Belt.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

At 544 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain has already
fallen over the warned area. Flash flooding is expected to begin
shortly, if not already underway.
Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Ashland, Hurley, Mercer, Sanborn, Mellen, Marengo, Saxon, Gurney,
Upson, Gile, Odanah, Montreal, Kimball, Morse, Pence, Bad River
Reservation, Gile Flowage, Cedar, High Bridge, and Iron Belt.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
