  Southeastern Hidalgo County in Deep South Texas...

* Until 1100 PM CDT.

* At 906 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated showers and thunderstorms 
  producing heavy rain across the warned area. 1 to 3 inches of rain 
  have fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Weslaco, Donna, Elsa, Maria Alicia P Munoz Elementary School, Donna
  Public Library, La Blanca, Edcouch-Elsa High School, Weslaco Mid
  Valley Airport, A.p. Solis Middle School and Weslaco City Hall.

Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the 
warned area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1100 PM CDT FOR
SOUTHEASTERN HIDALGO COUNTY...

At 941 PM CDT, emergency management reported heavy rain due to 
showers and thunderstorms over the city of Donna. 2 to 4 inches of 
rain have fallen. Flash flooding is occurring and water rescues have 
been requested in the area and are ongoing. Water is reported into 
homes in the city of Donna.

This is a FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for the city of Donna is a 
PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW!

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Weslaco, Donna, Elsa, Maria Alicia P Munoz Elementary School, Donna
Public Library, La Blanca, Edcouch-Elsa High School, Weslaco Mid
Valley Airport, A.p. Solis Middle School and Weslaco City Hall.

Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the 
warned area.
