13 Nov 2024 Update: The tool was updated to use non-hash link style URLs. A shim is in place to translate the old URLs to the new ones, so nothing should be broken (famous last words). This was done to allow the HTML5 History API to provide a better user experience.

  Northwestern Ware County in southeastern Georgia...
  Southeastern Coffee County in southeastern Georgia...
  Eastern Atkinson County in southeastern Georgia...
  Northern Pierce County in southeastern Georgia...
  Southern Appling County in southeastern Georgia...

* At 437 AM EST, a large and extremely dangerous tornado was located
  9 miles northeast of Pearson, moving northeast at 55 mph.

  This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. TAKE COVER NOW! 

  HAZARD...Damaging tornado. 

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

  IMPACT...You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris 
           may be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile 
           homes will be destroyed. Considerable damage to homes, 
           businesses, and vehicles is likely and complete 
           destruction is possible. 

* Locations impacted include...
  Alma, Patterson, Nicholls, Offerman, Bristol, Dixie Union,
  Millwood, Bickley, Axson and New Lacy.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

To repeat, a large, extremely dangerous and potentially deadly
tornado is developing. To protect your life, TAKE COVER NOW! Move to
a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy
building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in
a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect
yourself from flying debris.

Tornadoes are extremely difficult to see and confirm at night. Do not
wait to see or hear the tornado. TAKE COVER NOW!
