The climatological pull of the fall season is very strong this time of year as ever shortening daylight time and decreasing solar incidence angle work to decrease heating potential and lower humidity levels allow for more cooling overnight. The slope of the climatology certainly steepens during the end of September and October. The forecast for this week is starting to hint at our first real chance of a freeze by the end of the week.
