An isolated storm fired late afternoon over far southeastern Iowa and was very photogenic with clear viewing of the storm from many angles. The KCRG-TV webcam in Iowa City had a great view of the storm and captured a wonderful time lapse. The heat and humidity this week continues to help fuel summertime-like thunderstorm activity with more storms expected later this afternoon and overnight.
