Small January Range

Posted: 24 Jan 2020 05:40 AM

Temperatures did not move much on Thursday over Iowa. A number of reporting locations, like Waterloo, only had two degrees of difference between the low and high temperature. High humidity, clouds, fog, and snow all helped to keep temperatures from moving much. The featured table presents the smallest daily range in temperature for Waterloo during January. Having such a small range isn't too exceptional with a two degree range happening back in 2017 as well. Friday looks to be a repeat of Thursday with regards to temperatures not moving much along with accumulating snowfall over southeastern Iowa.
