Temperatures warmed nicely on Thursday with far southeastern Iowa reaching the lower 50s. The featured map presents a simple analysis of airport weather station computed high temperatures for the day. Far northwestern Iowa was not as lucky, but temperatures were at least above freezing. A cool front swept the state by mid afternoon of the really warm air and we'll be left with seasonable temps for the weekend.
