If you love or hate snow, your location in the state will make a big difference to your affection of this winter season. The featured map is an analysis of season to date snowfall from NOHRSC. When this image was featured here in December, the "snowfall hole" was located over central Iowa. Since then, the hole has shifted to western Iowa with the lowest totals between Sioux City and Carroll. Meanwhile, some isolated areas in the state are now over four feet for the winter season!
