Temperatures continue to creep higher on Wednesday with highs making it into the mid 50s for Des Moines and setting the warmest temperature so far this December. Having the warmest high on 18 December is nothing that exceptional as about each day of the month having an equal chance after the first four days of December. Sadly, the forecast has temperatures creeping colder again and not much hope for a white Christmas yet.
