After a somewhat cool start to April, temperatures recently have been above average most every day for both high and low temperature for Ames as shown by the featured chart. The chart also shows that we have been above freezing since 12 April as well. While cooler weather is in the forecast, temperatures are not expected to reach freezing levels for Iowa. Some mid to upper 30s are expected tomorrow night though.
