Temperatures were much colder this past weekend than what we have experienced for much of March. The featured chart displays the daily high temperature departures for Ames this year. Since mid January, only one day is shown to have reached a -20 degree departures whereas a number of days have been +20 degrees over! The forecast for this week has a mixture of warm and cold temperatures, so while we are now officially into spring and out of winter, the weather will be providing both season.
