Clear skies on Saturday allowed for a good look from the Terra MODIS satellite at our current winter landscape in Iowa. Practically the entire state is shown covered in snow with the river channels and reservoirs clearly visible. The warm temperatures in December have left the larger reservoirs mostly ice free.
