The top panel shows the average mixing ratio of water vapor to air and the bottom panel shows the highest dew point report for the month for each year since 1935. This year was on the dry side of both metrics and the driest since 2009, which was a cool July as well. Muggy air did return to the state to end July and looks to stick around for the start of August, air temperatures will not be that bad though in the lower 80s.
