The ISU Meteorology Department lives in the west wing of the Agronomy building in Ames. On 25 May, the motor that provides chilled air for our wing failed. The featured chart is a time series of in-room air temperature for the "map room" in the building. It is a room without windows and a bunch of computers! Needless to say, it was plenty hot for the 11 days the air handler was down. But on Friday, the motor was fixed and cool air relief arrived! For the outside weather, cooler air is set to arrive on Sunday!
