The Storm Prediction Center has a very large high risk of severe weather for today. The atmospheric setup has many of the severe weather indices pegged with extreme amounts of wind shear and instability present. Perhaps the most concerning threat is the flooding potential with any additional rain producing flooding. Needless to say, the active weather pattern continues.
