The weather is set to get rough today and tomorrow with an unseasonally strong storm system developing this morning over the high plains. The Storm Prediction Center has parts of Iowa in a moderate risk for both days with the main threat for Iowa arriving on Thursday. The limiting factor for this event may be the amount of rich moisture that is available to be pulled north. This moisture provides the fuel for thunderstorm development.
