The GFS weather model is predicting a very strong storm system over the Upper Midwest during the middle of next week. This storm system will bring the coldest air of the season to Iowa. Temperatures may be cold enough to squeeze out some snow flurries! It will be interesting to see what the short term weather models do once we get closer to the event.
