This is probably not what most people would hope for on the second day of Spring. A strong storm system has brought wind and snow to the state today with ammounts approaching a foot in Western Iowa. This snow will not last long as any sunshine will quickly melt the snow from above and warm ground and pavement temperatures will melt the snow from below. Perhaps this can be winter's last stand?
