...Thunderstorms continue to develop over the northern and 

eastern waters of the islands...



At 950 AM AST, Doppler radar and satellite data indicated 

clusters of thunderstorms, capable of producing gusty winds to 

around 30 knots, torrential rainfall and occasional lightning. 

These thunderstorms were located from the northern waters of 

Puerto Rico eastward into the northern U.S. Virgin Islands coastal

waters, moving west between 10 to 15 knots. This activity is 

expected to continue during the next few hours. Boaters should 

seek safe harbor immediately.
