...Thunderstorms developing over the northern and eastern waters

of the islands...



At 730 AM AST, Doppler radar and satellite data indicated clusters

of thunderstorms, capable of producing gusty winds to around 30 

knots, torrential rainfall and occasional lightning. These 

thunderstorms were located between the eastern coastal waters of

Puerto Rico into the northern U.S. Virgin Islands, moving between

10 to 15 knots westward. Additional thunderstorms were just 

developing across the Atlantic waters and are expected to continue

during the next few hours. Boaters should seek safe harbor 

immediately.
