* WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations of 9 to 12 

  inches are expected.



* WHERE...Portions of Southern Connecticut and Western Suffolk 

  County on Long Island.



* WHEN...Until 6 AM EDT Thursday.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow continues into tonight and becomes

  especially heavy tonight. Expect significant reductions in 

  visibility at times. A combination of the heavy snow and wind 

  gusts up to 45 mph could bring down tree limbs and power lines, 

  creating power outages. Travel will be very difficult to 

  impossible, including during the evening commute.
