The National Weather Service in Upton has issued a Storm Warning,

which is in effect until midnight EST tonight. A Freezing Spray

Advisory has also been issued. This Freezing Spray Advisory is in

effect until 6 PM EST Friday. In addition, a Low Water Advisory

has been issued. This Low Water Advisory is in effect from 6 PM

Friday to midnight EST Friday night. The Gale Warning is no

longer in effect.



* WINDS AND SEAS...West winds 30 to 40 kt with gusts up to 50 kt.

  Seas 6 to 9 feet.



* Freezing Spray...Moderate freezing spray tonight and Friday.



* Water Levels...For Friday night, water levels will reach 2 feet

  below mean lower low water during times of low tide.



* Impacts...Low water conditions during low tide may lead to

  navigation difficulty and may require extra slack and mooring.

  Freezing spray will add weight to vessels, changing its center

  of mass to reduce stability of the vessel.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



A Storm Warning means sustained winds or frequent gusts of 48 to

63 kt are expected or occurring. Recreational boaters should

remain in port...or take shelter until winds and waves subside.

Commercial vessels should prepare for very strong winds and

dangerous sea conditions...and consider remaining in port or

taking shelter in port until winds and waves subside.



A Freezing Spray Advisory means that light to moderate

accumulation of ice is expected on vessels. Operating a vessel in

freezing spray can be hazardous. It is recommended that vessels

be prepared to take appropriate counter measures before putting
