The National Weather Service in Raleigh has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Johnston County in central North Carolina...

* Until 245 PM EDT Friday

* At 838 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated bands of heavy rain
  associated with Hurricane Florence rotating through Johnston
  County. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen and
  additional one to two inch per hour rates are likely through
  midday. The heavy rain combined with the rain that has already
  fallen, will result in flash flooding of area streams and creeks.
  Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Smithfield, Clayton, Benson, Micro, Selma, Four Oaks, Pine Level,
  Kenly, Princeton and Coats Crossroads.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles. Do not enter or cross flowing water or
water of unknown depth, either on foot or in a vehicle.
