...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 300 AM EDT FOR
SOUTHERN WASHINGTON COUNTY...

At 1212 AM EDT, law enforcement reported flash flooding in multiple
portions of Washington County. Water rescues have been ongoing.

FLASH FLOODING...     Occurring.

ESTIMATED RAINFALL... 4 to 5 inches.

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL...Up to 2 inches.

This is a FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for Washington, Pennsylvania. This
is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW!

McMurray...                       Washington...
Canonsburg...                     Gastonville...
Upper St. Clair...                Wolfdale...
McGovern...                       East Washington...
New Eagle...                      Houston...
West Finley...                    Claysville...

This includes  Interstate 70 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 7
and 30.

Excessive rainfall over the warned area will cause mud slides near
steep terrain.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to higher ground now. This is an extremely dangerous and
life-threatening situation. Do not attempt to travel unless you are
fleeing an area subject to flooding or under an evacuation order.

Act quickly and move to higher ground now.

Runoff from heavy rainfall will flood small streams, poor drainage
areas and low-lying spots.
