...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 215 AM EDT FOR
CENTRAL LOUDOUN COUNTY...

At 1048 PM EDT, emergency management reported flash flooding with
numerous roads closed and ongoing water rescues near and north of
Leesburg. Water is approaching Highway 15 just north of Leesburg and
Main Street in Waterford. Up to five inches of rain have already
fallen. Another inch of rain is possible over the next hour.

THIS IS A FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY FOR AREAS NEAR AND NORTH OF
LEESBURG. This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER
GROUND NOW! AVOID ALL UNNECESSARY TRAVEL!

Leesburg, Hamilton and Waterford.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to higher ground now. This is an extremely dangerous and
life-threatening situation. Do not attempt to travel unless you are
fleeing an area subject to flooding or under an evacuation order.
