COUNTIES...

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 AM CDT FOR
JEFFERSON AND WESTERN ORANGE COUNTIES...

At 512 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain over the warned area. Heavy
rainfall continues to move across the area, and Jefferson County
Drainage District 6 gages indicate 6 to 14 inches of rain have
fallen since last evening. Dangerous flash flooding is expected to
continue.

THIS IS A FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY FOR JEFFERSON AND ORANGE COUNTIES.
This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW!

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Beaumont, Port Arthur, Nederland, Port Neches, Vidor, Nome, Hamshire,
Central Gardens, China, Rose City, Pine Forest, Port Acres,
Orangefield, Fannett, La Belle and Southeast Texas Regional Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to higher ground now. This is an extremely dangerous and
life-threatening situation. Do not attempt to travel unless you are
fleeing an area subject to flooding or under an evacuation order.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
