...THE FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY CONTINUES FOR MUCH OF GRENADA COUNTY
AND NORTHERN CARROLL...

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 115 PM CST FOR
NORTHWESTERN CARROLL AND GRENADA COUNTIES...

At 1038 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the warned
area. One to three inches of rain have fallen over the past three
hours onto already flooded or saturated areas. Numerous homes remain
flooded, in addtion numerous roads closed or flooded. Flash flooding
will continue across the area.

This is a FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for much of Grenda County, including
the city of Grenada and northern Carroll county. This is a
PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW!

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Grenada, Leflore, Jefferson, Teoc, Elliott, Avalon, Bew Springs,
Holcomb and Malmaison.

Additional rainfall amounts of one to three are possible in the
warned area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to higher ground now. This is an extremely dangerous and
life-threatening situation. Do not attempt to travel unless you are
fleeing an area subject to flooding or under an evacuation order.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
