The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for portions of...
  Charleston County in southeastern South Carolina...
  Colleton County in southeastern South Carolina...
  Berkeley County in southeastern South Carolina...
  Dorchester County in southeastern South Carolina...

* Until 315 PM EDT

* At 1124 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rains associated
  with Hurricane Irma moving inland across much of southern South
  Carolina. The risk for flash flooding will continue to increase
  through early afternoon as heavy rains combine with the incoming
  elevated high tide. The combination of surge and heavy rain will
  enhance the risk for flooding across coastal locations such as
  Downtown Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Edisto Beach, Folly Beach,
  Kaiwah Island and Isle of Palms.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Charleston, North Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Summerville, Goose
  Creek, Hanahan, Edisto Beach and Middleton Place.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
