It has been a rather interesting winter with plenty of precipitation and rather limited periods of very cold temperatures. The top 20 events shows the ongoing event coming in 19th place, but likely not going to climb into the top 10 as warmer temperatures are expected by around the first of April, which is the end of next week! The end date of these streaks is informative to denote that they rarely can last more than the first week into April. The 1974-1975 streak is certainly an outlier, lasting till the 15th.
