High temperatures in the 80s these past two days has certainly felt amazing and has made two recent cold spells a bit more of a distant memory. Least we forget, today's featured chart presents daily high and low temperatures for Des Moines along with climatology and departure from climatology (bottom panel). The bottom panel nicely shows the extreme dip in temperature during February and then a smaller dip during April. The forecast has temperatures settling back to average before more 80s for the weekend.
