The NWS had a Frost Advisory for much of southern Iowa this morning as earlier April warm had gotta some temperature sensitive plants off to an early growing season start. The featured map presents morning low temperatures from the airport weather stations. Some clouds over northern Iowa helped to slightly buoy temperatures there. Such temperatures are chilly for April, but nothing out of the ordinary as we still have at least two weeks to go before such temperatures become very infrequent.
