Areas along the south central border of Iowa and Missouri received a significant amount of rainfall over the weekend leading to some flooding. The featured map displays the one hour precipitation guidance threshold before additional non-urban flash flooding is expected. Values are very low in the area, but thankfully additional rainfall is expected to hold off for a few days there. Additional heavy rain will work west to east over the state this week with subsequent chances of flooding.
