The featured map displays NOAA MRMS precipitation estimates for Thanksgiving Day. Half of the state is analyzed to have received over an inch with some isolated two inch amounts. Thankfully, most of this fell in the liquid form and travel difficulties were limited to western Iowa. Cold air has settled into the state and looks to stick around for the next week with highs in the 30s.
