Sadly, Veterans Day 2015 will be remembered for more than just honoring those that serve our country, but also for a significant late season severe weather event. The featured map displays local storm reports from the National Weather Service. A number of tornadoes were reported in the state. The storms moved very quickly and very strong winds arrived overnight with gusts well over 50 mph. More reports will likely be added to the map today as new information is collected and storm damage surveys are done.
