Is such a low snowfall total possible for Des Moines? The featured chart shows the yearly (winter season) snowfall total and the percent of long term average. Only one year is shown below 10 inches, let alone 10%. 10% of normal would only be just over three inches and the chart would indicate there is a near zero chance of it happening. "So you're telling me there's a chance..."
