The featured calendar displays daily rainfall reports from the Ames Airport sensor. Besides being very cool for May, last week was also quite wet halting spring planting progress. A few stray showers are visiting this state this morning and so will be leaving us for a wonderful week in store. Sunshine and warmer temperature are just what Iowa farmers need to get back on schedule. Temperatures are expected to approach 80 by next weekend.
