Heavy rainfall is once again causing problems in Iowa as if it was the year 2008 again. The featured map is an estimate of the total rainfall for the past 7 days. Select locations in the Cedar Rapids and Iowa City area have seen upwards of 8-10 inches causing flooding, but nothing like what was seen in 2008. The good news is that our weekend looks dry, but will be on the cool side of what to expect in late August.
