Happens most every fall

A strong cold front pushed east over the Ohio River Valley sparking severe thunderstorms and many reports of tornados. This type of event happens most every fall as very powerful storm systems develop over the plains thanks to the renewed battle between warm and cold air. For Iowa, the low pressure system will pull far enough way to settle our weather down for the weekend until our next chance of rain on Sunday night.
