What a wild weather day it was on Sunday! The featured plot shows all of the severe thunderstorm and tornado warmings and watches issued in the past 24 hours by the National Weather Service. The Pleasant Hill (Kansas City) office issued 103 warmings (57 severe thunderstorm and 46 tornado)! It will take a while to sort out the tornado reports, but Sunday will certainly go down as a super outbreak day with a preliminary count of over 100 tornados.
