Preliminary rainfall estimates for Sunday indicate most parts of the state receiving some precip. The particularly dry area Eastern Iowa currently classified in D3 status (bright red line) by the Drought Monitor missed out on the rainfall Sunday. The good news is that our forecast has numerous chances of precipitation, but those chances are in the form of snow.
