The warm air is waiting just to our south and west for a warm front to lift north and allow this more seasonal air to return to Iowa. Once the warm air does return, so to will our chances of showers and thunderstorms. It is hard to believe the weather thus far in July. It is July 8th and I have to wear a sweater to mow lawn. There should be an investigation.
