Day 5 of Severe Weather Awareness Week focuses on severe weather products issued by the National Weather Service. There are numerous products issued by the NWS long before most severe weather occurs. One of the more interesting products is the convective outlook issued by the Storm Prediction Center. These forecasts give you a general idea where severe weather may occur.
