Here is a photo of storm damage that occurred here in Polk County at about
2:30 PM Saturday afternoon.  The location is in the area of NE 108th and
Highway 163 near the Metro East Landfill in Eastern Polk County.  No
injuries were reported.  The Polk County Sheriff's Office and the Polk
County Emergency Management Agency responded to the incident.  It took
approximately 45 minutes to clear the debris.  Eastbound lanes of Highway
163 were partially closed for only a short time.  No other significant
reports of damage were received by Polk County EMA.
